Benefits
This course will review a number of practical aspects
of the Internet, looking into what we might use the
Internet for and how. We will review a combination of
search techniques and strategies for marketing on the
web. Participants will begin to de-mystify the Internet
and see how they can put it to basic use within their
business.
Building upon these skills, participants will look at
how they might advance and improve the efficiency of
their own business by applying some of the process in
common use on the internet. The course is designed to
provide participants with useful tools and techniques to
improve their business efficiency as well as a basic
understanding of how the Internet works.

and how we could use it |
 | Searching the world wide web |
 | Getting the best from
the Internet |
 | How we can improve our
own business by applying and incorporating some of the
features |
Who should attend:
Anyone that intends doing business
in the 21st century who does not understand
the Internet, how it can be of benefit and assistance to
them, as well as how they can take advantage of it.
Anyone who wants to understand more about how they might
capitalise effectively on this enormous resource. Anyone
who has no experience of using the Internet.
Note: Participants will be
encouraged to make use of the computer facilities to
access the Internet and should be prepared so to do.
Level of Knowledge Assumed:
Participants are expected to only
have a very basic understanding of a computer (switch it
on and type their own name) and be able to read English.
They are likely to have had no formal training in
computing.
