For Fife Council,
4-consulting investigated the feasibility of externalising the Council's elderly care homes to a charitable trust, including preparation of financial projections and investigation of funding options.
4-consulting developed, and
continues to deliver, a customised programme of training for the West of Scotland Loan Fund. The training, which demonstrates business development as a holistic activity rather than issue specific, is intended to improve the quality of business loan applications and, more generally, the quality of advice offered to SMEs. The training is provided for the economic development officers in a consortium of local authorities representing the former Strathclyde Regional Council.
