In a "Proof of Concept" assignment for Bute Outdoor Centre, 4-consulting undertook market demand analyses, developed a Business Plan for a community-based association with charitable status and identified prospective funding sources. The Centre's primary objective is the creation and running of a fully accessible holiday centre with a focus on people with disabilities. As a result of the study, the Centre was able to raise the required funding and is currently constructing the new building that lies at the heart of the charity's mission.

4-consulting has been working with Victim Support Scotland, a charity charged with delivering a high profile aspect of the Government's justice policy in Scotland, through a "managing change agenda". Following a review by the Justice Department, we assisted the management team to plan and implement change proposals for staff and volunteers across Scotland . The initial focus was on communications strategy and the re-organisation of headquarters' and regional staff. 4-consulting was subsequently invited to facilitate a more comprehensive and inclusive strategic planning process and to undertake a strategic IT review.
