designed and delivered a programme of training in “Finance for Non-Financial Managers”
for Mitsui Babcock. The training was designed to help project managers
improve their understanding of the financial performance of the company and the impact that their projects had in terms of cash flow, capital commitments and working capital requirements.
Clyde Blowers Plc, one of Scotland 's most successful engineering
companies, appointed 4-consulting Director, Sandy Pratt to design and
build a spreadsheet modelling application for corporate budget modelling and management information reporting
. The resulting models reduced the time required to produce monthly management reports whilst providing important flexibility for changing information content and layout.
A key aspect of the project was too ensure that the spreadsheets contained no logical errors and would be easy to maintain the future.
