4-CONSULTING E-ZINE

Identity theft has grown in scale and sophistication to the point where most of us knows someone that has been affected by the crime.  This edition of our e-zine gives you some suggestions for protecting yourself against ID-theft.

Many of our readers are responsible for managing projects and, from time to time, we are asked to help recover failing projects.  We share our experiences of recovering runaway projects.

We hope that you'll pass on this e-zine to a colleague.

Recent Successes

Since our last edition, we've been commissioned to carry out more projects for some of our clients. We've delivered to CE Electric an IT security risk assessment of connecting peripheral devices to computer networks using wireless, Bluetooth and infrared technologies.

We have been commissioned by Duraweld Ltd, a leading supplier of plastic stationery, to help them select new ERP computer systems for their manufacturing systems and Beggars Banquet, a major independent record company have retained us in a similar project.

Inverclyde Housing engaged us to carry out a tenant satisfaction survey and Victim Support has commissioned us to project manage the development of a new case management database.

Tell us your view

In our last edition, we asked if you felt that  your organisation was fully aware of its risks.  Over 60% of our respondents answered "no".  We hope that you will take a moment to answer the following question:

Most experts consider that a new 'flu pandemic is just a matter of time.  The Government estimates that 25% of workers will be off work for up to eight days over a three-month period resulting in absenteeism rising to 15% of the workforce.

Does your organisation have a contingency plan for its workforce?

Answer our question and let us know – all responses are confidential.
