Invitation to Tender ("ITT")
|
|
|
Once you have surveyed the
marketplace and identified suppliers that appear to have a solution for
your needs, you should invite four or five to submit formal tenders for
the supply of a solution.
Suppliers should be asked to tender against a Statement of User
Requirements.
The ITT should contain the following information:

the tendering rules |
|
|
the format in which the tender must be submitted |
|
|
the number of copies |
|
|
the address that tenders should be sent |
|
|
instructions for packaging the tender |
|
|
the evaluation criteria |
|
|
a summary of the tendering timetable |
|
