the numbers, you cannot find a way of producing a project plan
where the time and costs cannot fit inside the budget or time
constraints imposed by the Sponsor and/or the organisation. |

In such cases, the project manager
must: |

Tell the Sponsor |

Ask if the business could
tolerate: |
|
|
- |
extended
timescales, OR |
|
- |
increased
budgets, OR |
|
- |
releasing
staff with the highest available level of skills
to the project |
|
 |
Re-plan and re-estimate |
 |
Otherwise ........ insist that
the project is not feasible! |
