Prioritising Projects

The Board of Directors or the Executive Management team has to sort out the priorities of the various projects that are underway at any time.

Click

Projects Dashboard The project DASHBOARD is a convenient way for senior managers to see the state of all the active projects in a single report.
Projects Interdependences An important part of prioritising the projects is to manage project interdependences
We suggest that the following rules should be followed:

projects that affect most people or have the greatest effect on profitability should have the highest priority

only projects that advance the attainment of the long-term corporate plan should be given a high priority

relatively less important projects should not be overlooked
more important projects should not be delayed by less important projects
all decisions should be auditable
Refer to the PROJECT PRIORITISATION Principle
