From time to time you be asked to assist in a project, or you may be asked to provide one of your team to help out.

People helping in projects have a role in the governance culture:

you must provide the time to help in projects when asked

you should keep the project manager informed of progress and problems

you should report new risks as soon as you see them

you should offer suggestions for doing things better, quicker or cheaper

you should report if you are being held back by others or their lack of action
